Bay View Gallery Night is back! We lost a year to the dreaded Covid pandemic but the good folks that organize this neighborhood event have put together an art crawl that has over 50 stops winding through the streets of Bay View this Friday, June 25th from 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. Shops, bars, breweries, galleries and more will have pop up art exhibits and events.
And of course The Muse Gallery Guesthouse will be one of the stops. We are still erring on the side of caution and keeping the event totally outside, but we have a big surprise this year as part of our offering…esteemed Milwaukee muralist John Kowalczyk will be revealing a new mural he has done for The Muse on the parking lot wall. This mural was part of an event that occurred a few weekends ago when over 100 people came by and helped paint the background as part of a Bay View Community Day event. John returned the following week to add the detail you will be able to see at BVGN. It turned out great and we can’t wait for you to come see it!
Artists Sharon Mergener, Karen Williams, Stephanie Bartz, Roxane Mayeur, Carol Rode-Curley, Thom Ertl and Megan Moran will all have art on display in the parking lot in various stalls. John Griffin will be there too with cookies from his Grain Free Goods baking business. And if that isn’t enough fun, we will enjoy live music by Shell Bells. Refreshments while they last.
Don’t miss it. We will be open from 6-8 p.m. that night. Stop by and say “Hi” – we’ve missed you!
